Wilton team announced for Jedburgh friendly

THE following Wilton gents’ bowling team was selected for Saturday’s friendly against Jedburgh at the indoor stadium: Rink one – B. Stormont, E. Pollard, J. Murdie and G. Brownlee (skip). Rink two – G. Hughes, K. McCartney, K. Lyle and R. Paterson (skip). Rink three – D. Smart, W. Greens, M. Notman and S. Anderson (skip). Rink four – A. Dickson, O. Gibson, J. Smyth and B. Jaffray (skip). Rink five – J. Graham, M. Scott, J. Elliot and D. Macdougall (skip).

Wilton players are asked to be at the leisure centre for 11.45am for a noon start. Dress code is smart but casual (preferably no sports tops). The match will be followed by dominoes in the West Stewart Place clubrooms

An open fours tournament is scheduled for January 12 at the indoor stadium and will carry financial support from Beattie’s and Golden Charter. Entries to D. Macdougall (376559) by January 7.
