The Hawick News understands that the complaint against the Hawick and Denholm member centres on the proposal for an AD (Anaerobic Digestion) plant at Burnfoot.
When contacted by the Hawick News to find out whether or not he knew if a complaint had been made, Councillor Cranston said he was unable to comment on the issue. A spokesperson for Scottish Borders Council said the local authority did not comment on individual complaints against councillors.
