RHC 15

A YOUNG Quins outfit almost pulled off a shock result when giving high-flying RHC a real run for their money in terrible conditions at Wilton Lodge Park.

Scott Peffers did the damage for the Teries, and opened his account with a try and penalty in the first half, while the visitors posted a 15-point haul.

The second period saw Quins keeping the pressure on RHC, preventing them from adding to their tally.

Scott Peffers was back on target with a further two penalties, and with the Quins forwards playing out of their skins, keeping RHC pinned on their own line, the hosts had all the play but couldn’t make their territorial domination count, and the visitors ran out narrow winners.

Praise should go to all 40 players for making a game of it in the horrible weather.
