Scotland begin their November international programme this afternoon against Argentina, and Stuart Hogg is confident they can start with a positive result.
Hogg, who has starred for Glasgow this term, believes that the national team will benefit from his club and Edinburgh’s recent successes on the European stage.
“We [Edinburgh and Glasgow] are two from two in Europe. We had a good win against Bath in one of our best performances of the season with the boys digging deep, and it was a great result to come away with the win at Montpellier.
“The boys are high in confidence right now after the two wins in Europe, and in terms of Scottish rugby, the boys are coming in with similes on their faces and ready to learn new patterns etc with the Scotland team which we hope to take into the autumn.”
Scotland head coach Vern Cotter said: “Argentina will offer us a very stern test, which is good because we want to show that we play for each other, we play for the shirt, and we enjoy what we do.”
