RBS EAST LEAGUE DIVISION ONE
a BATTLING Quins performance kept them in the game for long periods but was not quite enough to earn them the points.
Linlithgow took the lead with a penalty against the run of play after a home move had broken down.
The visitors then crossed the whitwash for their first touchdown of the day, but the Quins rallied at this point and Adam Hall landed a penalty to reduce the deficit.
Just before half-time, Linlithgow increased their lead with a converted try and penalty to take an 18-3 advantage into the break.
The second period saw both teams playing good rugby, and it was Quins who capitalised with a Craig Richardson try.
The visitors came charging back, though, and added to their tally with another score and penalty. Quins remained resolute, and got themselves right back into the game, courtesy of nice tries from Ross Nichol and Hall.
However, Linlithgow weren’t quite fnished and notched a late try to end the scoring.
