Last Wednesday saw Teviotdale’s senior men open their league campaign with a very good home win over Balbardie of Bathgate. New season nerves were visible in the early stages but the Teries stuck to their task to notch a 71 shots to 57 victory. Teviotdale’s four-rink gents’ team lost their first game of the indoor season against East Fife at Teviotdale Leisure Centre. In a hard-fought match the home side led by 48 shots to 47 after 15 ends. However, the visitors then piled on the pressure and ran out winners by 86 shots to 64. The Teri combination of Billy Killey, Bill Jaffray, Alan Waugh and Andrew Kyle drew their game. Details: S.
