After having been blown away in being demolished 9-1 by Spartans in their last outing, Hawick Royal Albert will be looking to pick up the pieces tonight (Friday) in their Lowland League clash with Cumbernauld Colts.
Visiting Broadwood Stadium for the first time, a ground which Cumbernauld Colts share with Clyde, the Albert have, however, a difficult game ahead of them.
The two sides met recently in the SFA South Region Challenge Cup at Albert Park, with Cumbernauld emerging 3-1 victors.
In the amateur scene Hawick United are the only local side to be in action
The ‘Tangerines’ travel to face Glasgow outfit Broomhouse in the Scottish Amateur Cup.
United’s Ross Scott said: “The game is going to be a big test for us, especially as it’s away in Glasgow and that Broomhouse play on a 3G pitch.
“We are the only Border team left in this cup and we will be going to Glasgow to give it our best shot. “
