THREE goals in the latter stages of the game sent Royal Albert tumbling to their tenth defeat in succession.

Up until this late scoring blitz, Royalists had given as good as they got thanks to a much-improved all-round showing.

Albert’s teenage ace Declan Hogg said of the game: “It’s the best we have played for a while. Craigroyston are going for promotion but we really game them a hard game.

“Two of the goals that we lost were from mistakes, though, but otherwise we didn’t do badly.”

Craigroyston netted the only goal of an evenly-fought first half.

Royalists hit back to equalise after the break.

Substitute Scott Watson rattling in a shot that the Craigroyston keeper failed to hold. Watson was following up to hit home the loose ball.

After Watson had squandered an opportunity to put the Albert in front, Craigroyston notched a second with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.

The Edinburgh outfit then finished in a flurry by scoring a further twice.
