FASHIONISTAS young and old alike will be strutting their stuff in a charity fashion show taking place at Mansfield House Hotel on Thursday.

Local fashion store Eden, knitwear manufacturers William Lockie & Co, as well as upmarket ladieswear Melrose shop @12, are all due to showcase their latest ranges at the runway show, being held in aid of the Duke of Buccleuch’s Fox Hounds, as well as Action Medical Research.

Eden proprietor Sandi Spence, who will still be holding a large annual fashion show to raise funds for Action Medical Research at the end of the year, told the Hawick News: “I was asked if I would like to help and its for a good cause, so I was happy to get on board. I’m supplying half of the models which will include a lot of children showcasing my Joules kids range, which is perfect ahead of the Common-Riding season and provides a nice country, sporty look which is so popular, as well as some adult outfits for this time of year, and some posh frocks as well.”

Tickets priced £8 including a glass of wine, have been selling well, but are still available from Eden, in Buccleuch Street.
