Vodka thief set for sentencing

A man who stole a bottle of vodka from a local shop will be sentenced at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on August 22.

David Connolly, 30, of Bright Street, appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court and admitted stealing a bottle of vodka from B & M Bargains, Croft Road, on July 10, while on bail.
