Police appeal following Landrover theft

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following the theft of a green Landrover Discovery from Newcastleton over the weekend.

The vehicle was taken from outside an auto repair shop on North Hermitage Street at some time between Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November.

Police Inspector Calum McDonald of Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for any information on the theft of this Landrover. Members of the public should also contact Police if they saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the dates stated or in the preceding days.”

“We would also like to make all Landrover owners aware of these thefts, and that they should be extra vigilant, ensuring their vehicles are kept secure.”
