Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the eighth annual Border Bogie Race day in Denholm.
All kinds of weird and wacky vehicles will career down the spectacular hill course in Dean Road, with the junior action getting under way at 9.30am.
The adults will get the chance to show their mettle at 1pm, and the trophies will be presented around 4pm.
As well as the high-octane fun, there will be a car bootsale and traditional May fair on the village green.
Entertainment will include Maypole and Highland dancing, the St Boswells Brass Band, Hawick Scout Fellowship Pipe Band and a birds of prey display.
There will also be various stalls, including one for the village’s Brownie pack, and catering outlets.
