Former club president Henry Gray presented a practical workshop at last Tuesday’s Film and Video Group meeting. The theme was an up-to-date reminder about developments in digital movie-making. Henry connected his laptop computer to the club’s projector, thereby enabling the audience to view on the large screen, some film clips and methods of editing the downloaded camera footage.
He pointed out the improvements from the days of cine film technology to the high quality slimline cameras available now, which record onto memory cards which can be cleared for reuse. The evening concluded with Scott Renwick thanking Henry for the useful hints and tips and a most enjoyable lecture.
