A woman who stole toiletries from a local shop, has had sentence deferred until April 7 to appear personally.

Kimberley Moscrop, 24, of Hillend Drive, admitted the theft from Poundstretchers’ High Street store on October 20 last year.

A teenager who assaulted three police officers has had sentence further deferred until April 21 for a previously ordered report.

Eighteen-year-old Caitlin Thomson, of Leishman Place, admitted kicking an officer on the leg, and assaulting a female officer, in Eildon Road, on September 25.

She also admitted assaulting another officer by biting his leg.
