A woman – hospitalised after being found unconscious – admitted possession of a class A drug.

Danielle Lazzari, 24, of Chay Blyth Place, admitted having methadone at a house in Leishman Place on September 30, 2013.

Lazzari was admonished after Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard she had been out of trouble during a period of deferred sentence and had “turned her life around.

“She was hospitalised, having been found unconscious,” explained procurator fiscal Graham Fraser, “but has since turned a corner.”

Sheriff Peter Paterson told the accused: “I am pleased to hear that things have turned around for you.”
