Accused in court over break-in

A teenager has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court charged with a breaking into a house.

Jordan Simpson, 18, is accused of theft by house-breaking in Dovemount Place in October. He made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination.

Simpson, who gave a Glasgow address, was released on bail by Sheriff Kevin Drummond until his next court appearance on a date still to be confirmed.
