Cops in quad bike theft plea

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a quad bike worth £7,500 was stolen from a Newcastleton farm.

The green Honda was taken from a barn at Shaws Farm between Tuesday-Thursday, October 29-31.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers are asking for anyone who can assist with their enquiries to come forward.”
