At last Thursday’s meeting, doctors Hazel Mason and James Frost presented an illustrated talk on a trip to the Nagaland region of Northeast India and later included an account of a visit to Calcutta. During their stay in Nagaland, they got to know the customs and traditions of the people of the villages, and gained access for many wonderful portraits of the locals. Calcutta is fascinating also, with its atmosphere of chaotic street scenes with market stalls, trams and taxis crammed into the same area. Club president Anna Lee thanked Hazel and James for a wonderful photographic display.
