Nearly 300 local businesspeople have used the Borders Business Masterclass Tour to expand their knowledge and contacts book.
Organised by Business Gateway Scottish Borders, the European funded tour spent six months in the region. Business leaders from the world of marketing, social media, motivation, innovation and sales drew crowds, with speed networking proving a popular way to break the ice and form new business relationships at each event.
Phil McCreadie, Business Gateway manager, said: “The tour has been a phenomenal success, with business owners from across the region picking up sound advice from the experts who were carefully selected to speak on topics we know local businesses want to hear about.
“Ensuring your enterprise stands out from its competitors is what all businesses strive to do and with the help of all our speakers local companies large and small have forged new connections and learnt new ways of thinking that will help their businesses thrive. We are delighted so many people attended the events, proving the local business community has a real appetite for knowledge which can be satisfied by the 20 plus events organised during our Business Month which starts on October 1.”
