DENHOLM Green welcomed the Jedforest Hunt on Boxing Day for its annual outing which was joined by over 30 mounted supporters.

After snowy weather over the past two years saw the traditional horses replaced by quad bikes, joint master and huntsman Stuart Trousdale (pictured) told the Hawick News: “It was a grand day out with a decent foot support as well. We were out until about 3pm until the wind became quite bad out on the hill.”

Mr Trousdale said no foxes were caught.
