While the temperatures may have dropped slightly for the 86 riders on Tuesday, it was another dry journey to Mosspaul and back, despite early evening showers in Hawick.
And it was another great occasion for the Big Four.
Acting Father Iain Huggan said: “It was absolutely tremendous ride, one of the best I think I’ve ever had to Mosspaul.
“We never had a single drop of rain. From start to finish it was outstanding. I couldn’t believe the crowds waiting to greet us when we returned.
“It was better than I could ever have imagined.”
