A big hearted local businessman has donated more than £700 raised in a sponsored sky dive to a local memorial charity.
Undertaker Paul Robson jumped from 13,000 feet earlier this year at St Andrews Sky Diving Centre to raise cash for the Anthony Mundell Memorial Fund.
And last week he presented a cheque to Anthony’s parents Keith and Ros Mundell for £735.
Speaking to the Hawick News, Paul said: “As a business, every year we raise money for a local charity or good cause and this year I decided on a sky dive to donate to for the Anthony Mundell Memorial Fund.”
This was Paul’s second sky dive, having completed one a few years ago in South Africa.
Paul added: “I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated. People were very generous and as always.
“It was great fun.”
Asked if he has further sky dives plans, he laughed: “I’m not planning another one.“
