Passionate colour photographs of live rock music performances are being showcased in a new exhibition ‘Four4’ at the museum.
The photos show musicians and singers, both famous and lesser known, on stage strutting their stuff.
Visitors will recognise rock icons such as Gary Numan, Jah Wobble and KT Tunstall as well as many others.
Photographers Pat and June Rafferty offer engaging and powerful images of iconic performers and music events from the recent past, taken at various venues and events such as the Wicker Man Festival.
A spokesperson said: “The iconography of rock music is now part of our culture and this exhibition captures both the art and the excitement of that scene.”
The exhibition runs until June 26 in the Waterfall Gallery, first floor, Hawick Museum.
Admission is free.
