Hundreds of rugby fans joined Bill McLaren's family and friends as the Voice of Rugby was laid to rest on Monday.
Teviot Church was packed with well-wishers, while hundreds heard the service outside the church and watched as six of Hawick Rugby Club's players bore Bill's coffin.

They heard heartfelt and touching stories from Bill's grandson Gregor Lawson, and a poem dedicated to Bill, from Ian Landles.

See this week's News for the full story and picture special of the day Hawick said farewell to Bill.
