Lindores-led rink grab glory

Last Monday’s final of the gents’ rinks championship was won by the squad comprising John Taylor, Colin Rae, Andrew Kyle and Euan Lindores (skip), who clinched a 13 shots to 12 victory at the last end, over Duncan Macdougall, Jamie Purves, Graeme Smith and Chris Macdougall (skip).

Last Friday night’s triples final saw the trio of Duncan Macdougall, Mark Hogarth and Chris Macdougall (skip) secure victory against John Darling, David Reid and Bill Anderson (skip).

Teviotdale’s presentation of prizes will be held tonight (Friday) at 7 pm, and will be followed by music from Tom Knox and company.

The club’s annual general meeting is on Thursday, April 17, at 7 pm.
