LINDA Marshall has been selected to play for a Scotland South side against Scotland North in a charity challenge match next month.
The local darts legend will be joined by, among others, Scotland captain and internationalist Ross ‘The Boss’ Montgomery, Lakeside qualifier Gary Stone and internationalists Jimmy McGuigan, from Jedburgh; Derek Cunningham, Lanarkshire; and Harry Todman from the Lothians.
Fellow females in the side include internationalist Lynn Cowan, Louise Hepburn, Frances Lawson and Anne Kirk.
There are 15 men in each team and ten women for the event, which will be held in Glenrothes, Fife on June 2 in aid of Diabetes UK Scotland.
Linda has already won the ladies singles, and doubles with Wendy Cowan, the Jedburgh ladies singles, mixed doubles and ladies doubles and two weeks ago won the Superleague doubles.
She said: “I’m really looking forward to it and it’s for such a great cause.”
She has already received £75 from workmates at Lockies. Further donations can be handed in to Perfectly Polished on the High Street.
