HAWICK: Despite Sunday’s adverse weather, the club’s open day proved to be a success, and with the stalls moved into the clubhouse, a grand total of £4,850 was raised, taking on a total of 15 new members.

The membership offer of £300 will be extended until the end of the month, so if anyone was put off by the wind and rain on Sunday but is still interested in taking out a membership, contact the club on 372293.

In addition to this, any existing members who would like to spread their payments over 12 months can arrange to do so at the clubhouse on Sunday, October 6, from noon.

A big thank you to club staff and council members who helped make the day a success.
