Stuart Easton admits he has barely come down from cloud nine since the last MCE Insurance British Superbike round and is determined to still be there after the next.
At BSB round three at Oulton Park at the start of the month, the 28-year-old finished on the podium for the first time since his horrific crash at the North West 200 this time last year.
Easton, riding for Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki, heads to round four at Snetterton this weekend sitting fourth in the overall standings with 58 points – 40 behind leader Tommy Hill.
And he believes he can challenge for top honours.
He said: “I could have scored even better last time out. I was battling against it a little bit, I had to start the first race from the back of the grid and the second one was a partially wet race.
“I was being a bit more cautious because I can’t afford another big crash. The bike was getting quicker and quicker as the day went on.
“So we’re really confident moving forward. At the start of the season my main aim was to feel confident on the bike again and I do now.”
