Hawick fight fans are set for a feast of boxing at the Auld Baths next Friday night.
The 14-bout bill features ex and current Scottish champions and British title contenders and includes an all-girl rematch between Jessica Pattinson from Alnwick Boxing Club and Shophie Rodgers from the Dunstone Club. The pair fought a fortnight ago in Alnwick with Rodgers coming out on top after a split decision.
Six Hawick fighters are set to feature including heavyweights Sean Allison v Craig Russell from Cardenden, and Tom Robson takes on Mike Webb from Lochend. Jack Purvis squares off against Nathan Quinn from Tranent’s Bronx club, and Shaun Stewart fights Gavin Redman from Leith Victoria. Hawick’s Junior Eastern District champions Connor Sutherland and Macauly Walker take on Keiran Young, East Lothian and Lewis Johnston from Clovenstone.
Other bouts include Tony McLean, Lochend v Robert Milligan, Clovenstone; Jamie Buchanan, Clovenstone v John McAllum, Bronx; Ben Kinnear v Ryan Baigrie, Midlothian; Paul Robertson, Midlothian v Gavin Pow, Lochend; Robert Gorrian, Bronx v Alexander Hutchinson, Midlothian; Sean Raeburn, Clovenstone v Jay Furness, Alnwick; with one bout to be confirmed.
