LINDA Marshall has been selected to throw for Scotland at the BDO British International at Fleetwood next month.

It will be the fourth time she has represented her country.

She told the Hawick News: “It’s a real honour to be chosen to play for Scotland. I’m really looking forward to going down and my husband Scooter, family and friends will all be there supporting me so I’m hoping to play the best darts I can.”

Linda (pictured) plays for The Royal in Jedburgh and for Kelso in the Superleague. She also plays intercounties for the Borders. Before the International she is competing in the Berwick Open and after it she will be starring at the Welsh Open and Granite City Open.

She added: “It would be nice to find a sponsor to help me with my travel to all these events.”
