HERIOT-WATT drew first flood in this free-scoring encounter when taking the lead during the opening exchanges.

The Albert youngsters came rallying back and Sean Solley equalised with a diving header.

After linking up well with Rowen Shaw, Corey Wilson then put the Albert ahead with glorious shot.

Lewis Johnston then got his name on the Albert scoresheet in finding the net with a header.

Royalists were well in command at this stage, but matters were to change.

Heriot-Watt reduced the leeway, and then got on level terms courtesy of a Ryan Brady own goal.

Four minutes from time, the university outfit grabbed what was to be the winner.

Disappointed Albert team boss Alec Caldwell said: “When the players were 3-1 up they thought they had the game won.

“But the game is all about 90 minutes, and I keep telling them this, and our boys sure found out.”
