UNITED breezed to a clear-cut win in a match they dominated throughout.

The Tangerines made the early running and took the lead on the half-hour mark when Ross Scott slotted away a Kevin Patterson cross.

Towards the interval Hotspur were reduced to ten men in having a player red carded.

Following the break, Kevin Strathdee put United further ahead with a spot-on finish from a Patterson cross.

Strathdee then notched his second goal of the game after being set up by Scott.

United keeper Dean Fry had two super saves during the second half.
