HAWICK Waverley captain Taylor Hope is confident his side can bounce back from last week’s South of Scotland Cup exit, writes John Slorance.
The Wilton Lodge Park outfit crashed out of the competition at the hands of Tweeddale Rovers.
But Hope, who led the team to Beveridge Cup success last season and has been captain since he was 17, remains optimistic about the remainder of the campaign.
The 20-year-old told the Hawick News: “It was disappointing to go out of the cup but we still have a lot to play for.
“This Saturday we’ll be looking to return to winning ways against Langholm in the league.
“Our league position is quite good and we want to keep it that way and improve.
“And we’re still in the Beveridge Cup so it would be great to win that again.”
