Despite netting thrice away from home, Hawick United ended up on the wrong end of a 4-3 scoreline at Gala Hotspur in last night’s Division ‘B’ match. Ross Scott, Kevin Strathdee and Charlie Mitchell emerged the United marksmen.

Also in action last night, Hawick Legion Rovers went down 5-4 at home to Bowholm CFC in a Division ‘C’ encounter. The visitors hit home three goals in the opening quarter-of-an-hour. John Shankie then tucked away a penalty for Rovers. After Bowholm had went nap, Rovers staged a revival, during which Shankie (penalty), Ryan Law and Callum Hope all scored.
