Hawick Royal Albert manager Graeme Chadwick has resigned from his post, writes John Slorance.

Chadwick, who broke the news of his departure on Tuesday, told the Hawick News: “It’s down to personal reasons and it’s not been an easy decision to make, as well as one I’ve put a lot of thought into. Besides being Hawick manager, I have a full-time job, as well as running a part-time business.

“Recently I’ve taken up a scouting position with Hearts and watch youngsters play on Sundays.

“All of this keeps me extremely busy and as I have a wife and young daughter, it was getting to the stage that I was not spending enough time with my family.

“I’ve enjoyed my time with Hawick, though, and wish the club well.”

John Fettes, who has been Chadwick’s assistant, and coach Alan Mckenzie will be in charge of Royalists’ game against Heriot-Watt University, today (Saturday).
