HAWICK Royal Albert boss Graeme Chadwick admitted this week his side must improve its discipline.
But he stressed every effort was being made to clean up their act as suspensions mount.
Last weekend’s Image Printers Cup tie against Easthouses Lily saw Royalists’ Jay Paterek, Ross Brand and Ronald Fleming all red-carded.
The previous week, Graham Clee was given his marching orders and as a result all four are unavailable for today’s match at Stirling in the South of Scotland Challenge Cup.
Chadwick told the Hawick News: “The situation is being seriously addressed with fines for bookings and sending-offs being introduced for one thing.
“Having players suspended is just no good and we are going to have to really work on this as the team is suffering.
“Most of the red cards have been for stupid things and the players have apologised for their behaviour.
“Frustration has been drifting in as the guys are trying hard to do well. Better discipline will have to be shown, though.”
