Hawick Linden have announced their coaching set-up for the coming season as the Volunteer Park side bids to build on last season's title triumph.
Following three successful years in charge, John Tait is reducing the considerable demands on his time by assisting team manager Keith Murray, while Brian Wear moves up to head coach and will also pull the boots on for one more campaign.

The forwards will be under the direction of last season's captain Lee Stewart who picked up a serious knee injury on the end-of-season trip to France and is likely to be sidelined for some time.

Mike Howe will continue his specialised work with the forwards with Jock Rae coming on board to perform a similar role.

Meanwhile, players are reminded that touch rugby training kicks off at the Volunteer on Thursday, with rugby training starting at the same venue on Thursday, July 23 at 7pm.
