THREE people who obtained food and drink from two Hawick restaurants without paying, had sentence deferred until May 5.
Daniel Finnie, 18, of Sandbed; 18-year-old Kelly Parish of Allars Bank; and Stuart Learmonth, 20, of Allars Bank, were released on bail with a condition not to enter the town’s Shebab Tandoori or The Laughing Buddha. All three accused admitted obtaining food and drink worth £102.55 without paying, at the Shebab Tandoori, North Bridge Street, on March 1. They also admitted obtaining food worth £95.20 at The Laughing Buddha, High Street, on March 2.
Finnie and Parish were also barred from Lidl, Wilton Path, after they admitted stealing alcohol from the shop on March 4.
