Rum & Milk was awarded first prize in this year’s Callants Club window display competition.

The judging was done by first-year poetry contest winners Daniel Irvine, Naomi Tait, Murray Dodd, Emma Grieve and Shannen Davidson. In second place was D*Fine Hairdressers, and Lily of the Valley came third. There were highly commended awards given to Hoops-a-Daisy, Crosby Chemists, Made by Mary and Fun-2-Do.

Club president Dr Charlie Oliver said: “The Callants Club would like to acknowledge all the effort and creativity of all the shops who participated. The decorated shop windows certainly enhanced the High Street and surrounding areas. A big thank you to everyone who took part.”
