Rob Mitchell, a lifetime employee at Lyle and Scott now retired, gave a power point presentation on Martin Luther Recycled. Rob is a keen cyclist and tours Europe regularly. Far from this being a religious discourse this was an extensive cycle ride on the outstanding cycle tracks of Germany.
He concentrated on Lower Saxony in the areas of Erfurt and Gera heading north to the places most frequented by Luther during his escapades against the Church of Rome. His photos featured the cathedrals and churches as well as statues of Luther and J. S. Bach, the composer and another native of the districts.
Bob Neil gave a vote of thanks.
