Play bus just the ticket for toddlers

Toddlers at Burnfoot gave the PlayTalkRead bus ‘Bessie’ a massive thumbs up during its visit to the school last week. Designed as a free drop-in playground, the bus provided a fun-filled day which included nursery rhymes, painting and a sing-song. A parent told the Hawick News: “It was brilliant and the kids were really getting involved in things.” Pictured above with the youngsters are Burnfoot school’s Jane Graham, early years admin; and Sarah Scott and Elaine Cassie, also early years, both of whom work with the two-year-olds in the nursery.
