The following applications were granted by Scottish Borders Council’s building standards manager:

Mr and Mrs S. Beadle – alterations to layout and single-storey extension to provide kitchen/dining/living room and installation of two roof lights.

Mr and Mrs A. Johnson – alterations and extension to form family room/sun room at Westrigg, Buccleuch Road.

Mr and Mrs Watson – alterations to layout to provide bed and breakfast accommodation and conversion of external store to form disabled suite at Balcary, Buccleuch Road.

Rosy Marshall – alterations to provide box profiled metal roof over existing felt roof at Cedar House, Minto.

Rillmount Ltd – relocate kitchen and alterations to internal partitions to increase floor area of shower room at 85 (2) High Street.

Boots UK Ltd – alter layout to provide hearing care area and upgrade consultation room at Boots The Chemist Ltd, 76 High Street.

Mr and Mrs J. Mallin – alterations and extension to provide conservatory and form open plan kitchen/sitting room at The Cottage, 7 West Stewart Place.

Home Retail Group – alterations to layout to incorporate additional retail store within building at Homebase Ltd, Galalaw Business Park.
