The following applications have been granted by Scottish Borders Council’s building standards manager:

Mr and Mrs G. Douglas – alterations and single-storey extension to form family room/kitchen at 26 Paterson Gardens.

Home Extensions Ltd, 7 Thomson Drive, Bearsden, Glasgow – erection of one-apartment annex accommodation at Acadia, 5 Wester Braid Road.

Burnfoot Community Futures – alterations and extension to public house and conversion of first floor flat to provide nursery and community facilities.

Mr and Mrs M. Buckley – demolition of existing garage block and existing extension, alterations and extensions to provide garage, pool with sauna and gym facilities, boiler house and link corridor, entrance vestibule, dining room and drawing room on ground floor and guest suites on first floor, refurbishment and reconfigure layout on ground, first and attic floor at Teviotdale Lodge.

Mr and Mrs R. Bain – erection of five-apartment dwellinghouse with attached garage on land north of Sawmill Cottage, Appletreehall.

Scottish Borders Council – erection of bandstand in Wilton Lodge Park.

Mr C. Patterson – demolition of workshop and erection of four-apartment dwellinghouse at workshop, North Hermitage Street, Newcastleton.

Mr and Mrs J. Higley – alterations and extension to provide living room. Internal and external alterations to relocate bathroom, form cupboard from existing bathroom, relocate bedroom, and formation of shower ensuite.

Mr and Mrs N. Renwick, 5 Paterson Gardens – formation of patio doors from existing window opening at 32 Oliver Park.
