Childhood memories of typical British holidays provide the inspiration for a colourful collection of ceramics, fabrics and embroidery at the Borders Textile Towerhouse.

Entitled A Seaside Jolly, the exhibition sees artist Flossy Teacake displaing hand-made ceramics, screen-printed fabrics, and machine and hand embroidery to create an exhibition that will appeal to all ages.

The original art work, priced from as little as £6, is arranged in small scenes depicting different aspects of traditional holidays in the UK, transporting visitors back to summer days spent at the beach, camping and having fun at the fair.

The exhibition runs until September 1.
