Night clesses ready for enrolment

THE West End and the Common-Riding are the main areas covered in the latest round of Ian Landles’s popular Local History night clesses.

Starting earlier than normal as Ian and his wife Margaret are soon to depart to New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup, the class gets under way on Monday night.

Ian said: “The informative but always light-hearted lectures last from 7-8.45pm and are held in the high school lecture hall.

“If you can’t make the first night just come along the following week. Old and new class members welcome.”

The cost is £25 for the 10-week series, with payment to be made on enrolment on the first night.
