A man brandished a knife, poured accelerant on himself, and lit it.
Remo Nardini, 57, of Minto Place, appeared on indictment at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Monday and admitted disorderly conduct at a house in Ramsay Road on April 15/16 last year.
Nardini played music at excessive volume and refused to turn it down. He also brandished a knife at police, sprayed accelerant about the living room, then poured it on his hand and lit it.
Sentence was deferred until March 7 for reports, including a restriction of liberty assessment.
