Two teenagers charged with vandalism offences

As A RESULT of police enquires, a 16-year-old Hawick male has been charged with a total of 17 vandalisms and two thefts.

This follows the recent spate of spray painting incidents in the towns Burnhead Road, Ruberslaw Road and Eildon Road areas.

A report is being compiled for the Procurator Fiscal. A 14-year-old youth has also been charged in connection with these incidents.
