editorial image

HOUSEHOLDERS are being urged to be vigilant after thieves targeted Orchard Terrace at the weekend.

The outhouses of two properties in the street were illegally entered, and the first incident, which took place between 4pm on January 18 and 8am the following day, resulted in a shovel being stolen. Another outhouse was broken into between 8pm on January 19 and 8am on January 20, with bottles of alcohol among the items stolen.

Police are reminding local residents to be on their guard, and anyone with information on these crimes should contact the station on 375051.
