Police investigate attempted thefts

POLICE are appealing for information after two lock-ups in the Gladstone Street area were forcibly entered.

The prowler struck some time between midday and 9pm last Friday, although nothing was stolen.

Elsewhere, officers are investigating after a Raleigh mountain bike was stolen from outhouses at the rear of Oliver Crescent. The theft took place overnight last Thursday into Friday.

Anyone who can help with enquiries into either incident should contact the station on 375051.
