Man charged with pub breach of peace

POLICE enquiries have led to a 36-year-old man being charged with a homophobic breach of the peace in the Exchange Bar, Silver Street, on May 22. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

POLICE are appealing for information after vandals pulled a shrub out from a garden in Burnfoot Road.

Anyone who can help with enquiries into the incident, which took place overnight Saturday into Sunday, should contact the station on 375051.

A 47-YEAR-OLD male was arrested following a breach of the peace in Burns Road at around 10.15 last night. He was later issued with a fixed penalty ticket and released.
